Vegan, Lactose Free, Ice-Cream
I’m not vegan but I do like keeping my treats as healthy as possible. Yesterday, I whipped this up for a friend, who after lunch, looked at me with such excitement and said, “What’s for dessert?”
This recipe is easy if you have a blender. It requires frozen banana’s, lactose free/vegan milk, and coco powder. Of course you can add any other powders you like. There is a variety in Pick n Pay. You don’t have to freeze it and you can make it in under 10 minutes flat. This recipe is good for two people. Double it if you like to entertain guests. If you freeze it, leave it to thaw for a little while before scooping it in bowls or cones.
Top tip: When your banana’s start to go ripe cut some up and keep them in the freezer. It’s always handy to have some for unexpected days when you have a sweet craving.
Ingredients
Two frozen banana’s (chopped)
1/4 cup milk (any lactose/vegan friendly version)
1 tbsp Skinny Nomo chocolate (you can use cocoa powder or milo)
Method
Combine all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Scoop into a bowl and garnish with some fruit, coconut flakes or two pieces of dark chocolate.
