Baked Beans Salad

I don’t think I’ve ever attended a braai where there wasn’t a baked beans salad.

Usually I offer to make it because I want it to be extra spicy.

So in the spirit of summer I’ve decided to share this recipe with you because it’s one of the easiest braai sides to make.

And you can pull it together in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients

1 can baked beans

1/2 onion, diced fine

1 tsp jeera powder

green chili’s (as much as you want)

handful of chopped coriander

salt to taste

cracks of black pepper

Method

  1. In a large bowl, add onions, jeera powder, chilis, coriander and salt to to the baked beans.

  2. Give it a good mix and turn out into a serving bowl.

  3. Crack the black pepper on top of the baked beans salad.
