Grilled Cauliflower
Grilled cauliflower as a meal is probably not what most of you have in mind for supper. But it’s one of the nicest vegetarian meals that I’ve had all month.
I got the idea to roast the entire cauliflower after watching many Masterchef episodes on an off day a few weeks ago. I also paired it with a Tahini dip and some steamed edamame beans.
Very low-key. Very easy and super nutritious.
Did you know: A Cauliflower is a flower that hasn’t fully grown. The leave are also edible so don’t chuck them. Green cauliflowers are a cross between broccoli and a cauliflower.
Ingredients
1 cauliflower
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sumac spice
salt and pepper to taste
paprika spice (optional)
Method
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
Drizzle the olive oil over your cauliflower (don’t be tempted to use more).
Sprinkle spices over the top and give the cauliflower a good massage.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the bottom of the cauliflower starts to caramelize.
Eat hot or cold with a dip.
