Cacao Maca Berry Smoothie

Smoothies really are the best time savers on days when there is just NO time.

I have been running around a lot in this past week. In between seeing clients and friends and bolting around smashing admin, I haven’t been eating proper meals.

Last week on one such morning I blitzed this smoothie with just the right portions of protein and fruit.

It was amazing and I didn’t get hungry again until after lunchtime.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Cacao Macha (Wholefoods variety)

1 raw egg

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup berries (I buy the frozen ones because I enjoy the sorbet texture with frozen fruit)

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp peanut butter/any nut butter of your choosing

1 tsp maple syrup/honey

Method

Blitz everything up for 1 whole minute and enjoy frozen with a spoon.
